You can reach Valencia from the Airport using several options:

  • Metro: Lines 3 and 5 connect Valencia Airport (Manises) to the city center. The journey takes about 25 minutes, and trains run every 10–20 minutes. This ticket is included in Valencia Card.

  • Bus: The Aero-Bús (Line 150) runs from the airport to the city center, stopping at key locations like Avenida del Cid. The journey takes around 40 minutes.

  • Taxi or Ride-Sharing: Taxis are available at the airport with a fixed fare of around €20 to the city center. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Cabify also operate in Valencia, with fares depending on demand and distance.

  • Travel Cards: Offer unlimited travel for a set period (1, 2 or 3 days). Prices range from about €16 for a 1-day pass to €26 for a 3-days pass.

  • BEACH TOURISM OFFICE: Paseo Marítimo – Playa del Cabañal (next to Hotel Balneario Las Arenas). Opening hours from 10:00 to 15:00 h. Only during the summer months.

Madrid metro and buses opearting hours are the following.

  • Metro: Valencia’s metro operates from 4:00 AM to 11:30 PM on most lines. On Fridays, Saturdays, and the nights before public holidays, some lines offer extended service until 3:00 AM.
  • Buses: EMT Valencia buses generally run from 4:00 AM to 10:30 PM, depending on the route. Night buses (lines N1–N10) operate from 10:30 PM to 2:00 AM, with some lines running later on weekends.
  • Children under 10 years old: Travel for free on EMT buses and Metrovalencia if they have a Child Mobility Card (Tarjeta Mobilitat Infantil), which can be requested for free.
  • Children over 10 years old: Pay the standard fare.

Tickets are valid for 1/2 or 3 days after the first validation for unlimited travel on EMT (Urban Bus) and in zones AB for Interurban Bus (MetroBus), Commuter TRAIN (Renfe), Metro, and tram. Includes trips to/from the airport by metro (L3 and 5) and MetroBus (line 150).
